Twentieth Anniversary Mid-Summer Musical Delight!

The venture began in 1996 to fill the void left when the Victoria International Festival ended. Annually, at midsummer, we enrich the cultural life of British Columbia, with distinctive, high-calibre, evening chamber music concerts – 105 in 20 years often to sold-out houses.

The Victoria Summer Music Festival Society’s mandate is “to encourage and further interest in and appreciation of classical music in Victoria through the presentation of public concerts.”

Offering audiences and performers a musical experience that feeds sublime human needs is a core value. Performers are chosen not only for their purely musical strengths but also for their ability to communicate with each other and the audience.
